Trident Technical College

• Trident Technical College (TTC) is located in Charleston, South Carolina.

• They offer 2-year courses based in four cities of South Carolina.

• TTC in Charleston was established in 1973. It was formed from the merger of the Charleston- Berkeley-Dorchester Technical Education Center and the Palmer College as well.

• This technical education center just started with 2 buildings in the year 1964. It expanded to 2 campuses when it merged with Palmer College in the year 1973.

• In order to meet the needs and the desires of all the students who are living in the country of Berkeley, there was a third campus established. It was built in 1982 near Moncks Corner.

• After that, the university had a lot of renovations which were started in 1986.

• They also opened the 1st phase of the Economic Development Complex when they were already purchased the 147 acres of land near to the main campus, located in North Charleston. The complex was already completed in the middle of 2005 and 2006. Also, in order to meet the desires and the needs of the students who are living in the country of southern Charleston, St. Paulís Parish site was opened in 2008 after the renovation of the Palmer campus.

• There are four specific locations of this university. It was located in the following places:
1. Palmer Campus is located at 66 Columbus St., Charleston, South Carolina 29403
2. Berkeley Campus is located at 1001 S. Live Oak Dr., Moncks Corner, SC 29461
3. St. Paul's Parish Site is located at 5231 Highway 165, Hollywood, South Carolina 29449
4. The main campus is located at 7000 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina 29406

• The enrollment runs more than 18,000 students. Basically, they are transferring to any college associate degrees; technical associate degrees; diplomas and even certificates.
